    Throughout the self-reflection themed art residency Every Me in Adana, Turkey, it is particularly the rooftops that call Heubusch’s attention. During one of the encounters with the locals, she comes across the custom of kite making and flying them from the city’s rooftops. One of the key characteristics of the kite is to be lead by the forces of the elements. The dancing kite seeks the overview, it becomes fluid in perspective and maintains an elemental playfulness. Inspired by the language of the kite, Heubusch steps into a discourse where the body becomes medium and narrator of the environments she encounters.
